It generally includes redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications connections, environmental controls (e.g., air conditioning, fire suppression) and various security devices

    As explained above its a designed area  for computer systems and associated components for reducing the complexity of operation and maintenance  of these systems. in the earlier decade we have faced lot of problems with maintaining and trouble shooting of computer systems and associated components because of we do not have proper design or proper area (data center) for these systems . then network professionals thought about the particular area for accommodating these systems   with meet  following aspects
